Code of business practices

Since 2005, the PPR Code of Business Practices is intended to formalise the Group's commitments towards its main internal and external stakeholders, along with the ethical principles that must guide the actions and behaviour of all PPR employees.

                                                The PPR Code of business practices is available in the 14 most commonly spoken languages within the Group.

  • The PPR Code of business practices

The PPR Code of business practices is based on international laws - the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights; the OECD guidelines for Multinational Enterprises; the United nations Convention on Children’s Rights and the main conventions of the International Labour Organisation.

 

In 2008, the Code was updated and the revised version was provided to all employees during 2009. It is available in the 14 most commonly spoken languages within the Group.

  • The ECCSR : Ethics Committee for Corporate Social Responsibility

PPR has also an Ethics Committee for Corporate Social Responsibility (ECCSR) with three main missions:

- Monitor the appropriate dissemination and enforcement of the Code of Business Practices and the principles advocated;

- Respond to any enquiry from Group employees: request for clarification, question about the Code’s interpretation and implementation, or complaint reported to the ECCSR regarding a presumed non-compliance with one of the Group’s ethical principles;

- Formulate recommendations in order to enhance the Group’s policy and actions on issues of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
