HOME The Movie

The film was conceived through a meeting of minds of three men: Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Luc Besson and François-Henri Pinault. They share the same aims: to help people understand and share the issues facing our planet and to provoke a general raising of awareness on the stakes of social and environmental responsibility.

Over 150 million have already watched the movie HOME since its release on 5 June 2009

“The social and environmental issues of our planet are immense and sustainable development concerns us all.
Therefore we must not only take action individually but to encourage by informing and raising awareness to everybody around us.
Personal awareness about the state of emergency in which our planet – our home – finds itself is essential and the foremost prerequisite for this crucial mobilisation in favour of sustainable development. The movie’s images have this power, this capacity.
